WHETSTONE USING INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Soak the whetstone in a bowl of water for at least 10 minutes to absorb the water before use (Salted water is recommended).
Step 2. Clip the knife angle guide onto your knife and put your stone onto the non-slip rubber base and bamboo block.
Step 3. Start with your knife close to you and your right hand closer to te stone. Keep the guide on the stone to get the perfect 15° sharpening angle.
Step 4. First use the lower grit side for 5-10 min to get your knife back in good shape (Rough grinding at 240, 400, 800, 1000, 1500, or 2000). Push the knife away from you while sliding it to the right. Repeat this 4 to 5 times the flip the knife over.
Step 5. Then use a 3000,4000,6000, or 8000 gritstone to strengthening the blade, grinding for 5-20 minutes.
Step 6. Wash your whetstone with water then put it in a ventilated place to dry.
